KISS is an American rock band that was formed in 1973 in New York City. The founding members of the band are Gene Simmons (bass and vocals), Paul Stanley (guitar and vocals), Ace Frehley (guitar), and Peter Criss (drums). KISS have been recognized for their influence on rock music and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
