About the album Dressed To Kill

Dressed To Kill from 1975 was KISS's third studio album. The band's finances were so meager that the album was produced by the group members themselves and Neil Bogart, the president of their record company, Casablanca Records (!) In order to support the title of the album, the members of KISS were photographed in borrowed suits (!)

Dressed To Kill is the shortest KISS album in duration. Its length barely reaches thirty minutes. This is indicative of the overall financial situation the band was experiencing. Nevertheless, KISS manages to deliver an excellent album with which they would establish their name in the American hard rock scene of the 1970s. The album's single, Rock And Roll All Nite, did not manage to become a hit. Conversely, its live version from Alive! a few months later would boost the career of the New York rockers.

Dressed To Kill reached No. 32 on the Billboard. In 1977, it managed to go gold in the USA thanks to the immense success KISS was then enjoying throughout the United States.
