About the album Slide In It
1984 was a milestone year for Whitesnake and David Coverdale. They achieved what the latter always dreamed of happening: sales in the USA.
So, Slide It In sold 4,000,000 in the USA and another 2,000,000 in the rest of the world.
The album was produced by Martin Birch, four singles were released, and it was recorded in Munich in 1983. In England, it reached No. 9, while in the USA, it reached No. 40, but it reappeared in the Billboard Top-200 three years after the overwhelming success of the 1987 album.
