David Coverdale with Whitesnake – whom he had fundamentally changed – releases in 1987 and achieves with his band's seventh album what he had been chasing throughout his career, great success in the U.S. and beyond.
The recordings lasted from September 1985 to November 1986. In 1987, one of the best hard rock albums of the 1980s would achieve worldwide sales of 25,000,000 copies (!)
The album and its success sent the band on a world tour that lasted for more than a year.
