About the album Women And Children First
The third album by Van Halen was recorded during the transition from the '70s to the '80s. It was recorded at Sunset Studio in Los Angeles. Here, Van Halen presents a harder sound and image and literally moves from hard rock to heavy metal.
The album was once again produced by Ted Templeman, who continued to offer his invaluable assistance. The first single from the album was And The Cradle Will Rock..., which became one of the most characteristic songs of the David Lee Roth era.
Women And Children First has gone triple platinum in the U.S. and reached No.6 on the Billboard.
