Coming Up  by Suede

Suede hadn't achieved much with their second album, and as a result, other britpop bands had overshadowed them. The third album, titled Coming Up, will come in September, offering the band what it was searching for, success.

The singer and frontman of the group was clear about the third record, it should be exactly in the opposite direction from the second, it should have a pop orientation, and it did. Five singles in a row entered the Top-10 in the UK, of which Trash went gold, and Beautiful Ones went silver due to the sales they achieved. A significant role in the album's success was played by the contribution of producer Ed Buller, who redefined the sound of Suede.

Coming Up reached No.1 in Britain and remains Suede's best-selling album by a wide margin from the second.
