Supergrass by Supergrass
About the album Supergrass
The group Supergrass was formed in England in 1993, and in 1999 they released their third album, which officially bore their name as the title, but it has become established as "The X-ray" album due to its cover.
It is an album of pure britpop, which was nearing its end during that period, but nonetheless, the album was successful, and its three singles were particularly loved.
In their homeland, Supergrass reached No.3. Overall, the album had a noteworthy performance in European countries and New Zealand. The USA remained rather indifferent. The album's production involved the members of the band itself and producer John Cornfield.
