A New Morning  by Suede

To A New Morning comes at a time when the public had lost interest in britpop, and thus the album went unnoticed. It wasn't even released in the U.S.

The creation and recording of the album took more than a year. The band's singer and songwriter, Brett Anderson, has stated that A New Morning was his first album recording without being under the influence of drugs, having gone through detox.

However, Suede, just before closing the first chapter of their existence, give us one of the most interesting albums of their career. In Britain, it reached No. 24.
