Have A Nice Day by Bon Jovi
About the album Have A Nice Day
Have A Nice Day is the ninth studio album by Bon Jovi. Despite the fact that the album was ready in the summer of 2004, the record was released in September 2005 as the band and their label were simultaneously working on the quadruple Box Set 100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong during the same period and the new album was put on hold.
The album consists of twelve new compositions by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora (primarily). The two of them worked together with producer John Shanks and prepared the songs without the other three members of the band, who recorded their parts later. From the album, the following three songs stood out as singles: Have A Nice Day, Welcome To Wherever You Are, and Who Says You Can't Go Home. Have A Nice Day has a more hard rock character compared to the band's previous works from New Jersey.
The album reached No. 2 in both the U.S. and the UK, while the 202,000 copies sold in the U.S. during its first week of release have made Have A Nice Day hold this record among all Bon Jovi albums.
