Who Made Who by AC/DC
About the album Who Made Who
Who Made Who is a hybrid album by AC/DC, released in 1986. It is an album that contains three new compositions, Who Made Who and the instrumental tracks D.T. and Chase The Ace, along with six more compositions from previous albums of the band, including Ride On, a song from the Bon Scott era.
The main reason for the existence of this album, however, is its role as the soundtrack for the movie "Maximum Overdrive," a horror film based on a book of the same name by Stephen King, with the famous author also acting as the director. Alongside the release of Who Made Who, a 24-minute film was also released, which was essentially promotional video clips of some of the album's songs. For the production of the video clip for the song Who Made Who, about 300 fans of the band appeared as clones of Angus Young (!).
The 5,000,000 copies sold in the U.S. alone make it one of the most commercially successful albums by the Australian rockers, while sales in the rest of the world have surely exceeded 1,000,000.
