Stiff Upper Lip by AC/DC
About the album Stiff Upper Lip
AC/DC welcome the new millennium with their thirteenth album titled Stiff Upper Lip, which was released in February 2000. George Young is in charge of production. It will be the last AC/DC album he produces. The album's title comes from an idea of Angus Young as he was once trapped in his car for hours in traffic and observed his lips in the mirror.
All the songs were compositions by the brothers Angus and Malcolm Young. The second single from the album was Safe In New York City, which after a year and a half was placed on a list to be not broadcasted by radio in New York after the attacks on the Twin Towers.
Stiff Upper Lip reached No. 7 in the USA and No. 12 in Great Britain.
