Lovehunter by Whitesnake
About the album Lovehunter
David Coverdale and his band Whitesnake present their second studio work titled Lovehunter in September. The album was produced by Martin Birch, who balanced the band's sound between hard rock and blues rock. It was the last album in which drummer David 'Duck' Dowle participated.
The album was recorded at Clearwell Castle in May 1979. The one and only single from the album was Long Way From Home. Lovehunter, Whitesnake's second album, features one of the most provocative album covers. It was a work by Cypriot painter Chris Achilléos.
The album reached No. 29 on the UK charts.
