About the album Super Tight...
The Underground Kingz (also known as UGK) from Port Arthur, Texas (!) recorded and released their second album Super Tight in 1994 – a time when Gangsta Rap was at its peak – and made an impression in the Hip Hop community.
Pimp C is in production and gives them their characteristic sound. UGK used the classic church organ extensively to achieve their sound.
The album climbed to No. 95 on the Billboard in the USA.
