About the album Paid In Full
The New York duo Eric B. and Rakim released their first album titled Paid In Full in 1987. The two truly deliver a lesson in scratching and rapping, with one loop coming after another. It is now considered a classic hip-hop album.
Special mention should be made of the pioneering way Rakim raps every line of the songs.
Over time, it reached sales of 1,000,000 copies in the U.S., but this happened in 1995.
