About the album Having A Rave Up
The English Yardbirds released Having A Rave Up, their second studio album, but the third of their career.
The album is an amazing example of the evolution of the British blues scene of the early '60s by young – at the time – talented musicians who engaged with American blues. It is one of the albums that played a leading role in the British Invasion in the U.S.A. in the mid-'60s.
The other noteworthy fact is that on the first side (studio) Jeff Beck plays guitar, while on the second (live) Eric Clapton does.
