The Yardbirds
The Yardbirds were a British rock band formed in London in 1963. They are particularly known for their lineup, which included some of the most famous guitarists in the history of rock music: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page. The band was a pioneer in the use of fuzz and distortion, introducing new sounds and techniques that influenced the development of rock, blues, and psychedelic music. Tracks like "For Your Love," "Heart Full of Soul," and "Shapes of Things" became major hits, establishing them as one of the most important and innovative musical formations of the 1960s. After the dissolution of the original lineup in 1968, the members continued to influence the music industry, while the band reassumed various forms throughout the following decades.
