About the album Fresh Cream
The Cream (Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce) shortly after their formation enter Rayrik Studios in London, and in a few months deliver Fresh Cream to the music-loving public. It is a legendary, yet also historical debut and rock album.
Through Fresh Cream, each member of Cream clearly unfolds their talent. It is remarkable how three people can play so “hard” in the mid-'60s. In Fresh Cream, one observes the transformation of Blues into something more “heavy,” something that would incredibly influence the music scene in the next 3-4 years.
The album reached 100,000 copies sold in Great Britain, while in the USA over the years it exceeded 1,000,000 copies.
