Talk Talk Talk by The Psychedelic Furs
About the album Talk Talk Talk
The Psychedelic Furs continued their successful collaboration with producer Steve Lillywhite on their second album, Talk Talk Talk, just as they did on their first album. However, the sound of the album, compared to that of the first, has been somewhat refined.
The song "Pretty In Pink" became the iconic song of the group and inspired the title for the American film of the same name in 1986 by director Howard Deutch. The song was also included in the film's soundtrack.
The reviews for the album were rapturous, and it is considered one of the best examples of the post-punk period in England.
