About the album Marquee Moon

The New York Television of Tom Verlaine recorded their debut titled Marquee Moon in 1976, which was officially released in 1977, writing its own history.

The sound of Marquee Moon definitely belongs to the large category of punk-rock, but the experiments running through it refer to Jazz and for this reason, the combination is something worth mentioning and listening to.

What's impressive about Marquee Moon was that its success in the U.S. was limited, while it received great recognition in Britain. The album opened paths that other post-punk music bands walked in the following years.
