About the album My Aim Is True

Elvis Costello and his musicians needed just 64 hours of recording for My Aim Is True and his debut was ready. It was released in 1977. The producer was Nick Lowe.

Here, the debuting Costello mixes rock 'n' roll, new wave, pub rock, a bit of punk rock and creates an album full of powerful and interesting moments.

Watching The Detectives was not included in the initial English version, but was added a few months later in the American one.
