About the album Talking Heads: 77

The New York debut of the Talking Heads was released in 1977 under the title Talking Heads: 77. The band from New York presented an original sound that might have seemed experimental, but in essence, was a sophisticated form of pop music with high ambitions.

It contains one of the most iconic and popular rock songs, Psycho Killer. It is said that producer Tony Bongiovi (cousin of Jon Bon Jovi) brought a knife from the studio kitchen and gave it to David Byrne, telling him that he had to hold it during the recording of the song, to deliver the lyrics more convincingly (!)

While it is now considered one of the most important albums in the course of rock music, at the time of its first release it reached only No. 97 on the Billboard. In the production of Talking Heads: 77, apart from Tony Bongiovi, Lance Quinn also participated, as well as the members of the band itself.
