In Trance by Scorpions
About the album In Trance
In Trance was the third album by Scorpions and the first masterpiece of their long career. Here, Scorpions move away from the progressive tendencies of their previous two albums and adopt an intense hard rock sound.
One of the reasons the album drew attention was its cover, which was censored because part of the breast of the model posing with the guitar of the band's then-guitarist Ulrich Roth was visible. In some later editions of the record, the breast was covered with black paint.
In Trance was the reason Scorpions collaborated in the production of the album for the first time with producer Dieter Dierks. Initially, In Trance sold three times more than their previous two works combined. The collaboration with the German producer continued uninterrupted until 1988.
