Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll by Rainbow
About the album Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll
Long Live Rock 'n' Roll was the third album by Rainbow, but it also marked the end of an era for the band, as it was the last album where we hear Ronnie James Dio on vocals.
The sound of Long Live Rock 'n' Roll was clearly a hard rock sound, and Martin Birch played his role in the production.
It did not become a huge commercial success, but along with the two previous Rainbow albums, it forms a very strong and tight trio of excellent hard rock albums in the second half of the 1970s.
