About the album Nevermind

On September 24, 1991, Nevermind is released by Nirvana and completely changes the game. Nevermind is not the debut of the band from Seattle, but it is their second album. Nevermind entirely changed the concept of hard music. It is a milestone album for rock music with a tremendous impact. The 30 million copies it has sold worldwide attest to it. The reviews were also in favor of Nirvana.

Most of the compositions are products of Kurt Cobain. The lyrics of the songs are characterized from dark and sad to sarcastic and funny. The sound of the album is something new. It's a mix of hard rock, alternative rock, punk rock. Heavy and rough. It was what was called grunge.

Nevermind - aside from its musical compositions - had a lot to say with its cover, which is one of the most iconic covers of all time. In 2021, Spencer Elden legally moved against all those who have the rights to Nirvana as he was the baby appearing on the cover chasing the dollar. When the photo shoot happened, Elden was four months old and his parents had given their consent believing the photo would be for some small and obscure project, not for the cover of a rock album.
