Lynyrd Skynyrd, with their 1976 album Gimmie Back My Bullets, reach their fourth studio effort, offering their classic – perhaps slightly wilder – southern rock sound.
The album took five years to go gold in the USA, and certainly the tragic fate of the band played its part, since after the tragic death of three band members in a plane crash in October 1977, many people turned to their albums.
The songs Gimmie Back My Bullets and Double Trouble stood out as singles.
