About the album Nuthin' Fancy

In March 1975, the third studio album by the group from Florida, the Lynyrd Skynyrd group, was released. Nuthin' Fancy is another album produced by Al Kooper. Lynyrd Skynyrd continue here to build their legend with songs like Saturday Night Special, which was the only official single from the album, or On The Hunt.

In Nuthin' Fancy, we have Artimus Pyle on drums due to the departure of Bob Burns, who left because of the many concerts the band had to perform, while he could not or did not want to follow such a tight schedule.

The success of the album was initially a purely American affair, with the album reaching No.9 on the Billboard chart and selling 1,000,000 copies in the U.S.A.
