About the album Off With Their Heads
The Kaiser Chiefs are returning very soon to the discography with their third studio album titled Off With Their Heads, which is released in 2008. The title comes from a phrase found in the first verse of the song Like It Too Much. This album has a noticeable differentiation in its musical style, as its compositions follow the then indie and alternative British rock sound.
A significant role in this was certainly played by the choice of the album's producers. The peers of the band members, producers Mark Ronson and Eliot James, help them record by bringing their sound to the mandates and trends prevailing at the end of the first decade of the 21st century. The first single from the album was Never Miss A Beat, which immediately reached No.5 in Britain upon its release. However, as it turned out, this was not enough.
In hindsight, the album sounds interesting, but at the time it was a "failed" attempt for the Kaiser Chiefs as its sales were less than those of the second album.
