Use Your Illusion I  by Guns ‘n’ Roses

With Use Your Illusion I, Guns 'n' Roses reach the third album of their career. It is a double album which is completed with the also double Use Your Illusion II that was released on the same day, that is on September 17, 1991. Something similar had not happened before in the music industry and that alone was an event.

Here, Guns 'n' Roses try to embrace every type of rock music they had loved. There are elements of punk, blues rock, classical music, and heavy metal. All of these with the hard rock aesthetic that characterized their debut four years earlier. From the first part of Use Your Illusion, Don't Cry, Live And Let Die, and of course November Rain will stand out.

The album reached very high positions in many countries, but only in Ireland did it reach No.1. In the U.S. and the UK, it stopped at No.2. It is estimated that 500,000 copies of each album were sold within two hours on the day of their release (!)
