About the album After Hours

Two years after the success of Still Got The Blues, in 1992, Gary Moore, with the release of After Hours, buries his hard rock past for good and confirms that the new musical path he will walk will be that of blues and blues-rock.

After Hours includes compositions by Gary Moore himself, as well as interesting covers such as Don't You Lie to Me, which is a song by Tampa Red from 1940 (!). Two special personalities of the blues stand by the artist's side, B.B. King on Since I Met You Baby and Albert Collins on The Blues Is Alright. The production of the album was done by Gary Moore and Ian Taylor.

Thus, After Hours works as a complement to Gary Moore's previous album and is really almost comparable to it despite the fact that its commercial appeal was not of the same order as Still Got The Blues. Nevertheless, After Hours reached No.4 in the United Kingdom and is the album that has achieved the highest position on that particular chart.
