Fastway by Fastway
About the album Fastway
The former guitarist of Motorhead, "Fast" Eddie Clarke, and the former bassist of UFO, Pete Way, decided to join forces, and thus the Fastway band was formed in 1982. However, by the time they managed to record and release their self-titled debut in April 1983, Pete Way had left the band, and Mick Feat took his place. On vocals, we have the Irishman Dave King.
Thus, with Eddie Kramer as producer, Fastway recorded their first album, whose sound balanced between hard rock and heavy metal. The album had three singles: We Become One, Say What You Will, and Easy Livin’.
The Fastway album achieved moderate success in the United Kingdom and the United States, where it reached No. 43 and No. 31 in the respective charts of these countries.
