Heroes by David Bowie
About the album Heroes
In David Bowie's twelfth album, "Heroes," Bowie and Brian Eno meet in songwriting, Toni Visconti in production, and Carlos Alomar on guitar. The rest is history.
Here David Bowie finds the opportunity to experiment with the ambient sound that was in its infancy at the time, while not forgetting to play rock. "Heroes" is the second album of the so-called "Berlin Trilogy." Many musically diverse artists have declared the influence that "Heroes" had on them, from John Lennon and Vince Clarke to Philip Glass and Ian Astbury of The Cult.
The record has sold close to 2,300,000 copies worldwide.
