About the album Slow Dazzle
Slow Dazzle is John Cale's fifth solo album and comes in the mid-1970s. John Cale had already moved to Island Records with his previous album.
He composed and produced all the songs except for the chilling cover of Heartbreak Hotel, a song by Elvis Presley. On synthesizers was Brian Eno, on guitars were Chris Spedding and Phil Manzanera, while on Darling I Need You, Stephen Gregory played the saxophone.
Slow Dazzle did not appear on any charts, but that doesn't stop it from being an album of amazing quality, one of those released in the heart of the 1970s.
