About the album Young Americans

Young Americans is the ninth album by David Bowie and was released in 1975. Bowie once again makes a creative turn in his career and explores soul and funk music.

On David Bowie's side are David Sanborn (saxophone), Carlos Alomar (guitars), John Lennon (guitar/vocals), Luther Vandross (vocals), Tony Visconti (production), and many others. Under these circumstances, plus the fact that we are in the mid-'70s, where the musical horizons of pop & rock music are expanding every quarter, what could go wrong with the album Young Americans?

Young Americans was the British artist's first album to put him in the Billboard Top-10 - more specifically, it reached No9. Sales are at 3,300,000 copies worldwide.
