The paradox with the cover is that, although the title Siren is not mentioned, everyone calls it that because of the depiction of the siren on the sea rocks. In the role of the siren is Bryan Ferry's then-girlfriend, Jerry Hall, while the location where the photoshoot took place is on the Welsh island called Anglesey.
From Siren, the single Love Is The Drug stands out, the most popular song by Roxy Music. In Britain, the album reached No. 4 and sold 100,000 copies. The producer of the record was Chris Thomas.
