About the album One Way... Or Another
The Cactus, a band from New York formed in the late '60s, released One Way ... Or Another in 1971. This album is the second of their career. Several people described the Cactus as the American version of Led Zeppelin, mainly in how they combine and blend blues, country, and folk elements and render them in a hard rock version.
One Way ... Or Another contains two cover songs. These are Little Richard's Long Tall Sally and Chuck Willis' Feel So Bad, which are unrecognizable compared to their original release and version. The album cover was a photograph by Alan Azzolino.
At the time of its release, One Way ... Or Another reached No. 88 on the Billboard, and there was also a relative success in Canada.
