Never Say Die! by Black Sabbath
About the album Never Say Die!
Never Say Die! was marked by Ozzy's brief and short-lived return to vocals after his dramatic departure. Additionally, all the members of Black Sabbath had serious addiction problems with alcohol and drugs.
Before Ozzy's return, the group had hired Dave Walker on vocals and had written songs with him. Ozzy refused to sing them. The tour that followed, with Van Halen as the support group, did not go well, with relations between the two groups being strained.
Never Say Die! ended in a very bad way, something particularly beautiful and creative that had started about ten years earlier. A new era was about to begin for each member of this legendary band.
