Mask by Bauhaus
About the album Mask
The English band Bauhaus released their second studio album in 1981. Mask is a characteristic example of what a post-punk record meant. On the other hand, there are no shortages of musical experiments, as well as gothic rock.
Mask consists of ten compositions, which resulted from the collaboration of all the band members who also handled the album's production. The cover was a painting by the band's guitarist, Daniel Ash.
The "hit" of the album was Kick In The Eye, which impressed with its danceable rhythm. Mask is one of those records that did not achieve great commercial success but opened new musical paths. The album reached No.30 in the United Kingdom.
