Cut The Crap by The Clash
About the album Cut The Crap
In 1985, only Joe Strummer and Paul Simonon remained from the classic lineup of The Clash. These two, along with three other unknown musicians, entered the studio with producer Bernard Rhodes and recorded Cut The Crap.
There was significant tension between Joe Strummer and Bernard Rhodes regarding the musical direction the album should take.
Weeks after the album's release, Joe Strummer disbanded The Clash. It seemed to be the tombstone for the group.
