The Doors
The Doors were an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. The band consisted of members Jim Morrison (vocals), Ray Manzarek (keyboards), Robby Krieger (guitar), and John Densmore (drums). They are famous for their unique sound that combined rock, blues, and psychedelic music, as well as for Morrison's expressive performances and poetic lyrics. The Doors achieved great success in the 1960s with songs like "Light My Fire," "Riders on the Storm," and "Break On Through (To the Other Side)." The band disbanded in 1973, two years after Morrison's untimely death in Paris. Their legacy remains strong, and they are considered one of the most influential rock bands of all time.
