About the album Strange Days
Just eight months after the release of their debut, the Doors return in 1967 with Strange Days, which sounds more psychedelic.
Many of the songs on Strange Days were also recorded in early 1967 and simply waited in the drawer or for some completion. The first single from the album was the legendary People Are Strange, which reached No. 12 on the Billboard.
As strange as it may sound, Strange Days was the Doors' album with the least sales while Jim Morrison was still alive. After his death and up to the present day, it has sold over 2,000,000 copies worldwide.
