Placebo is a British rock band formed in London in 1994. Its original members were Brian Molko (vocals, guitar), Stefan Olsdal (bass, guitar), and Robert Schultzberg (drums), although later Steve Hewitt replaced Schultzberg on drums. For over two decades, the band has established itself as one of the most recognizable names in the alternative rock scene, known for its emotional lyrics, the variety of musical genres, and its artistic style. Placebo has released numerous successful albums, such as "Placebo" (1996), "Without You I'm Nothing" (1998), and "Sleeping with Ghosts" (2003), and has sold millions of records worldwide.
