About the album Wu-Tang Forever

It took four years for the second Wu-Tang Clan album to be released after the success of their first album. Thus, in 1997, the Wu-Tang Clan presented the double album titled Wu-Tang Forever. In the interval between the two albums, personal projects by some members of the collective had preceded, such as Tical by Method Man or Ironman by Ghostface Killah. All were produced by RZA.

This time, RZA moves away from the minimalist production that characterized the first album and presents a more complex production which includes synthesizers and sound samples from kung fu movies (!). Due to the long duration of Wu-Tang Forever, other members of the group also have the opportunity to present their own compositions.

Wu-Tang Forever reached worldwide sales of 6,000,000 copies and is the most commercially successful album of the Wu-Tang Clan.
