About the album Pilgrimage
In 1971, Wishbone Ash released the second album of their career titled Pilgrimage. Musically, it leans more towards folk, without missing those passages from jazz fusion, most notably Vas Dis.
All the tracks on the album were written during their debut period, but they had not taken their final form. So, they worked on them with the help of producer Derek Lawrence, and thus came Pilgrimage.
In the UK, it reached No. 14.
