About the album First Base
The English band Babe Ruth released their debut album titled First Base in 1972. The group was oriented towards the American market, but unfortunately, it did not work out for them.
First Base did well in Britain and Canada, but their subsequent efforts did not yield anything better.
Black Dog and – of course – The Mexican will stand out and remain as notable songs, and there is also King Kong which is a cover of Frank Zappa's composition.
