About the album No More Heroes

No More Heroes by The Stranglers came just five months after the release of their first album. The Stranglers continue and intensify the onslaught with their second LP. Punk-rock mixes with New Wave, primarily due to Jean-Jacques Burnel's bass, but also due to the efforts of all the other band members who play as if there's no "tomorrow".

The production is by Martin Rushent. The compositions belong to all members, while the interpretation of the songs alternates among Burnel, Greenfield, and Cornwell. The album's first single was Something Better Change, followed by No More Heroes, one of the band's emblematic songs.

The Stranglers reached No. 2 in their homeland with No More Heroes, one of the best, if not the best, albums of their long career.
