A Bit Of What You Fancy  by The Quireboys

Despite the fact that the British Quiereboys were formed in Newcastle in 1984, they had to wait until 1990 to release their first album titled A Bit Of What You Fancy. Unfortunately for them, the years that followed in the second half of the 1980s passed without any discographic presence, as the hard rock sound of their songs would fit perfectly with what was happening on the other side of the Atlantic in the hard rock and glam metal scene.

Notably, the album reached No. 2 in Great Britain, but on the Billboard it couldn't progress higher than No. 111 (!)

The four singles entered the Top 40 in Great Britain, with the Hey You single reaching No. 14. A Bit Of What You Fancy was an album that was simply delayed in its release, or was released at a time when rock music was taking a turn towards the alternative sound.
