About the album Let The Bad Times Roll

Let the Bad Times Roll is the tenth studio album by The Offspring and was released on April 16, 2021. It was their first release in nine years since Days Go By (2012) and marked the longest break in the band’s history. The production was signed by Bob Rock, marking his third consecutive collaboration with the band, producing a more contemporary, "polished" sound, moving between alternative rock and pop-rock. It is the first album without bassist and founding member Greg K., who was removed from the band in 2018.

It includes twelve compositions, among which is a new piano rendition of the classic hit Gone Away and the cover In The Hall Of The Mountain King. The first single was Coming For You, which was initially released as a single in 2015. In reality, the first single that appeared alongside the album was the self-titled track, Let The Bad Times Roll. Lyrically, the album tackles contemporary social issues, such as the opioid crisis in the USA (The Opioid Diaries), mental health, and the general social unrest of the period, with a touch of dark humor and sarcasm.

Let the Bad Times Roll reached No. 27 on the Billboard Top 200 and No. 3 in the United Kingdom, while the album's success followed in many other European countries as well.
