Day & Age  by The Killers

Day & Age is the third studio album by the American rock band The Killers, which was released in November 2008. Frontman Brandon Flowers described it as their "most playful" album. Its style shifted away from the Americana rock of the previous album (Sam's Town) and ventured into new wave and synth paths, as well as indie rock with a strong use of synth and electronic elements.

The songwriting began during the tour for Sam's Town (2006-2007). The final recordings were completed in May 2008. The songs were written by the members of the band. The production was handled by Stuart Price. The recording took place mainly at Battle Born Studio in Las Vegas, while the mixing was done at Olympic Studios in London.

Day & Age reached No. 1 in the United Kingdom (the third consecutive for the band) and No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard 200. In Greece, the album was certified gold. The album has sold over 3,000,000 copies worldwide.
