About the album See The Light

The Canadian blues rock band Jeff Healey Band released their debut album titled See The Light in 1988. Obviously, guitarist and founding member of the band Jeff Healey, with this title, sends a message to the rest of the world, a message related to his personal story as he had lost his sight from the first year of his life.

See The Light is an album consisting of twelve songs - five of them are compositions by Jeff Healey, while the rest are covers of songs by others. The two standout tracks are Confidence Man and the album's title track. The album's main producer was Greg Ladanyi, while Jimmy Iovine produced the cover of ZZ Top's Blue Jeans Blues.

The album See The Light was the biggest commercial success of the Jeff Healey Band, as it went triple platinum in Canada, selling 300,000 copies, and platinum in the USA. Besides these two countries, the album was loved in Europe and also in Australia.
