About the album Da Capo
Love was a band from the Los Angeles psychedelic scene of the mid-60s. Da Capo was their second recording effort. The dominant figure of the band was Arthur Lee (composer and singer).
7 And 7 Is was the first single of the album and their biggest success on the Billboard. It reached No. 33.
It has been described as one of the first jazz rock albums in history because Lee was listening to a lot of Miles Davis at the time.
